Synopsis
Commissioned by Scripta Video and Eindhoven Airport, FOZIA is producing a five-episode series about the temporary closure of the runway, which will be closed to air traffic from February 1 to July 19, 2027, due to a complete renovation.
The series explores the consequences from various perspectives: from companies, universities, and private pilots to airplane spotters and airport employees.
The videos complement articles distributed through various media channels, helping to clearly and personally explain to local residents and other relevant audiences what the track closure means for them.

Eindhoven Airport is facing an unusual period: due to large-scale construction work, there will be no air traffic for 5.5 months. In this video, Frederique Portheine, Airport Operations Manager at Eindhoven Airport, explains what changes are being made to the runway, why they are necessary, and what the temporary closure means. From major maintenance and new systems to a future-proof airport.
